About Dream Graphics
Before the Dream:
There was a small graphics site that
Katie and Brianna both worked on. Star-liteneo.co.nr(Which is now closed)
Neither one of them really like it As the owner was very inactive as were the other workers.
This is where Brianna also meet Paige.
Katie and Brianna got really tired of being the only ones that worked with the site and made stuff for it. So they both decided to make a
website on their own. Thus the idea of Dream Graphics came about. It took another week or so for them to actually come up with a name and all that fun stuff. All I, Bri, Remember about the names we were coming up with....Starry Dreams, NeoKisses...etc. Some how we ended up with the name of Dream Graphics.
The Making of Dream
Making Dream was pretty easy. Go to Freewebs.com and sign up for an account then to Freedomains.co.nr. Nothing too hard about it. But when it came to layouts, thats where Brianna and Katie disagreed. Brianna likes dark colors like Blue and black and gray. Katie like light or bright colors like red, pink and green. So, the layout was an issue. At first Bri made a cute little layout. It was blue, dark blue.
Click to see the top banner. Thanks to Katie saying no, the layout was thankfully taken down and replaced with a orange kourga one. (yes, orange is a color they both could agree on)Now it was time to get graphics and stuff of that sort. Being it a graphics site, they started making graphics. I can't tell you what their first graphic was, but they had a few pages of content. Now came the fun time of opening.
Opening
So, they opened. Adding graphics as they went. Suddenly, as Bri was still visiting Star-lite, Bri offered Paige a Staff position at Dream. She accepting, which made Bri really happy. Katie also got a few people...I can't remember their names or what, but some of their graphics are still on the site. All during the first month or so of opening Bri was in school and learning how to do iframes. She was seeing how easy it was to edit the site and how easy navigation was in iframes. So one day, She decided to iframe the entire site. It was a very tiring process, but it got done..as you can see. Bri liked the effect and wanted more advanced stuff for the site. So she started looking for a way to get their own cutenews. Kaite was so exicted. So Blah Blah Blah, Bri figured it out, with the help of snowneo.com. So, OoOo Dream hosts their own Cutenews. By this point in time, Bri was getting tired of the whole site being orange. *sigh*
Running
We lost Katie as an owner in about early to mid September. Bri really didn't mind, she was busy with life and school. So now as the only owner of Dream, she started asking around for more staff members. Paige was still working for Dream which was a blessing. Amanda and Sammy came on board about late October and made internet life a little easier for Paige and Bri. They made new layouts, gained and lost some members, but all in all Dream graphics is having a good run. Nothing more we can do expect make graphics and keep advertising.
Domain
Dream got their domain on December 27(I think) Making them Dream-Graphics.org. This made Bri and the others (I think) Happy. Bri had always wanted a top level domain...and now she has one. Dream is hosted off of Awardspace and Domain from Go Daddy! Sweet!
PHP
Bri finally got off her lazy butt and decided to make the site PHP on April 5-6....xD YAY!
